She asked me to keep an eye out for her since she is targetted by scam roof repair, gardners, kids with candy bars etc. Matt from Enviroment VA refused to leave until she came out and told him herself...after he walked around me and told me that he needed to hear it from her himself. After he told me that he had a job to do and mind my business, I called police who came, stopped him, questioned him about his lack of permit, and told him to respect peoples' request to be left alone. I support their cause, but the obnoxious behavior is unfortunate for them and frankly just too much to tolerate. Thanx Paul L. As a (former) Heavy Partier I am going to save the honor of the residents and start the discussion. :) There will be Third Annual Summer Party at the Scotts (that's me - Alina, and my husband Marc) on July 19 this year (more about it later). I would like to suggest combining the two: have the Block Party in the afternoon and move to the back yard of 501 later in the evening! Due to limiter resources invitations will be distributed (shortly) only to the residents of 500-block. However, all are welcome to come and bring friends. The more the merrier! I am not sure what needs to be done to make the Block Party happen (or if anything has been started already) but would like to help.
